Thanks to a problematic cervix, we were monitored through
ultrasound every so often for several weeks. All of our amazing sonogram images (even the ones from the disappointing
20-week scan) are below. Remember that the thumbnails are clickable for a better view!
Ultrasound # 1
February 6, 2008 ~ 6.5 Weeks
(Baby Ana is just a wee dot with an itty, bitty beating heart .... located
between the two arrows!)
Ultrasound # 2
March 5, 2008 ~ 11 Weeks
(What a different a month makes!!)
Ultrasound # 3
March 11, 2008 ~ 12 Weeks
Ultrasound # 4
April 10, 2008 ~ 16 Weeks
Ultrasound # 5
April 24, 2008 ~ 18 Weeks
(We begged the tech to determine the sex of the baby although this was
supposed to be an in-and-out cervical check ... she looked and ... it's a girl!!)
Ultrasound # 6
May 13, 2008 ~ 20 Weeks
(We were very disappointed in the
way the way this ultrasound was conducted...)

Ultrasound # 7
June 24, 2008 ~ 27 Weeks
We had an amazing 3D/4D ultrasound at Vision of Life in the Upstate of S.C. Little Ana is a stubborn one, too! She did NOT want to move her hands away from her little face and
would kick at us when we'd tap/shake my tummy. The exam lasted well over 30 minutes and was simply amazing ... I highly recommend
the staff at Vision of Life!!
