Saturday, Sept. 23 -- "Dora's Pirate Adventure"
Birthday Party!
Party-goers walked the gang plank and set sail with us for
two hours on Saturday in celebration of Bella's big day! We watched "Dora's Pirate Adventure" on the main deck, played in
Bella's "Captain's quarters," went on a Dora-style treasure hunt to find "Bella's Lost Booty" (a treasure chest filled with
goody bags and arts and crafts supplies), ate quesadillas made by Bella's galley wench (aka Aunt Nay Nay), cracked open a
Dora pinata, dove into a Dora cake, and opened gifts. It was an action-packed day and Bella had a wonderful time!!

Past the pinata on the back porch
And into "Scout's Jungle" in the backyard!
We found treasure!!
Mmmmm ... cupcakes!
Sugar rush!! The kiddos had fun racing strollers and
shopping carts around the house.
Cake time!!

TIME TO OPEN GIFTS!!
"I got my Dora Bed!!" Bella has been talking about this
Dora toddler bed for a month ... and she got it for her birthday. She was so excited!!
Alas ... the guest are all gone. Bella and Nay Nay go
through the bounty of gifts that Bella received.
Oops ... we forgot something! Cover your eyes, Bella!!
WOOT! Bella got her own wheels! Her Barbie Jammin' Jeep
has two speeds -- 2.5 & 5mph -- and goes both forward and backwards. It took her all of 5 minutes to figure
out the "gear shift."
And ... another thing ... Nay Nay got Bella a cool "play house."
Now ... where to put it ... inside or out?
"Don't leave me, Nay Nay!"
Unwinding with a new dolly at the end of the day...
